Today two-car loads of people came to the house at a time when my hadji mother is really being put through the mill. They said they were from the TMSF and that they were going to look round the house.

When they were asked for their ID and documents, it became clear that they were estate agents. The man said they were buying the house. My hadji mother:

How can this be, son? This is our house, and we’ve been paying rent for a year, as well

she said. Apparently, they are going to come again tomorrow with documents from the TMSF.

For the last three years, they’ve been carrying out this investigationand I’ve worn myself out proving that we haven’t committed any crime whatsoever. There is no case, no indictment, let alone a court order.
