I read the claims about me in the main indictment. I prepared my answers and provided evidence. To cut a long story short, the prosecutor says: You went into the media business, my friend. The journalists working for your media companies didn’t join the Pool Media.

There were no lies or slander.

You turned a blind eye to all this.  Everyone came to your media companies. When they attacked your media companies, every fraction of society supported you.

You have built a university.
You have supported educational activities.

Instead of just pocketing the money for yourself,
You have given an excessive amount to help the poor.

And on top of all this, they said that you gave Selami some money 15 years ago???

It is obvious that you stayed at the Ciragan Hotel in Istanbul for one night 5 years ago!!!

Three dismissed people out of 5,000 employees said that another 3 people read Sizinti magazine.

The rest is nonsense…

Forget lifetime imprisonment, this is enough to hang someone.

Finally, I have a question for the dear judge; I am not in the legal profession but shouldn’t the prosecutor include the evidence in the file that’s in my favour? Because,

On 23.10.2015, I answered 90 percent of these claims with two files of evidence and CDs. It was submitted to the Investigation Bureau of Crimes Against the Constitutional Order. If those files had been read, this indictment wouldn’t have been written.

I am explaining this here to avoid wasting the High Court’s time.
