Dear valued members of the investigation commission of the TBMM (Turkish Grand National Assembly), dear Ministers, After a year of trustee management, no trace of crime has been reported as a result of the investigations conducted under the trustees. The claims of the expert witness who gave whatever information he felt like giving to you have clearly surfaced once more to spread fictitious nonsense.
As I have seen in the media, the claims in the main indictment are the same.
It consists of the claims that have already been destroyed by the evidence and the documents that we presented in two files to the prosecutor’s office. I hope the court will take into consideration the answers in the files that we carefully prepared,and that they will look into them.
A year ago, I declared that I was going to give my whole fortune to anyone who could find a penny, the sourceof which was unknown or where it was spent was unknown, or that it was spent in an unlawful way by any of the companies I own.
I can still very comfortably say this.
INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL COMPANIES HAVE ALL OUR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS AND REPORTS ON ALL OUR RESERVES THAT HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND DISCLOSED REGULARLY TO THE PUBLIC EACH YEAR. THEY HAVE INSPECTED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES. I AM EXPECTING THESE ACCOUNTS TO BE APPROVED BY THE TMSF.
THIS WAY, THE MANAGEMENT OF THE TRUSTEESHIP WILL COME TO AN END.
Finally,
I am not a politician.
I have not taken a political stand as yet.
I have not benefited from any state privileges.Besides empty exploration permissions, I haven’t submitted any tenders to the state. I haven’t worked with a state bank. Mining is similar to banking. The seas belong to the state but the fish belong to whoever catches them.
All our power came from being perfectionists and working in a principled and honest manner.
Even the expert witness wrote in his report that the accounts were perfect. In countries like Turkey, this level of perfection is not possible.
For the past year, we’ve been searching for justice, with the truth in our hands. We are patiently waiting for the investigations to be finalised, in spite of all the sorrows we have been suffering. We only ask for justice to be executed, nothing else.
