In S.C.’s indictment that appeared in the media today, there is only one line at the very end about me and that read as follows: The Bergama gold mining plant,which the Kozaİpek group got its hands on,the group which is in the hands of ‘Cemaat’ has started operations.

You will be embarrasssed if you start making claims about matters that you know nothing about. Let me explain:

 1.The Kozaİpek Group has belonged to the Koza family for 70 years. Make a mental note of that.

2. Newmont operated the Bergama plant until 2004 as planned and processed all the gold ore it planned to.
3. In 2004, the life of the plant was only 1.5 years.
4. Newmont chose to sell the plant because the ore reserves were finished.
5. The value of an ounce of gold was 400 USD and there was a 150.000 ounce reserve left, which makes 60 million USD. Not all of that was profit.
6. In 2004, Newmont announced that they had sold the Bergama plant to a foreign company called Frontier.
7. Theysold it for 40 million USD.
8. A dispute occurred between Newmont and Frontier as to the date of the first installment.
9. In 2005, Koza bought the Bergama plant for 40 million USD, which was the same price that Newmont and Frontier had agreed on.
10. 1.5 years after Koza bought the Bergama gold plant, the gold ore reserves were finished.Was there a gold mining plant that Koza got its hands on?Now you wonder, where it is produced?
